BSWN AGM Event 'Inclusive Growth – a mechanism for addressing inequality?'

BSWN would like to invite you to our Annual General Meeting ( AGM) which will be followed by an event entitled ‘ Inclusive Growth- A Mechanism for Addressing Inequality ?. We will share our thinking of what a local model of Inclusive Growth could look like could look like and discuss how it might be supported and developed further to address high levels of economic inequality faced by Black and Minority Ethnic people in our region. 
Keynote speakers include: Tim Bowles (West of England Regional Mayor) and Cllr Asher Craig, Deputy Mayor (Communities, Equalities & Public Health).

Followed by a panel discussion with: 
Edward Rowberry, Chief Executive at Bristol & Bath Regional Capital, 
James Durie, Chief Executive at Bristol Chamber of Commerce & Initiative
Poku Osei, Chief Executive for Babbasa Youth Empowerment Project
Chaired by Helen Farmer, Diversity & Inclusion Consultant.

The AGM is expected to be a fairly short occasion with a formal agenda chaired by Dr Marie - Annick Gournet, Interim Chair of BSWN. In order to participate in our AGM, you will have to be a registered member of BSWN. We are currently conducting an overhaul of our membership ahead of our AGM and we hope that you will renew your membership of BSWN or if you are not already a member, will apply to join. At present we do not charge a membership fee.
