Babbasa in collaboration with the award-winning Plimsoll Productions, Watershed and The Festival of Ideas, invite you for an evening of stories, discussion and networking.
Following the screening of a short film that chronicles the success and challenges of business people and entrepreneurs of ethnic minority background, there will be a panel discussion - which includes Bristol Lord Lieutenant Peaches Golding, Entrepreneur Michael Jenkins, Geneco CEO Mohammed Saddiq and our Director Sado Jirde. Panellists will explore the topic: “Positive Action: Does it really foster diversity & inclusion?”

The event is part of Babbasa’s #HearOurStories programme of activities that aims to inspire hope by sharing powerful stories of people often disadvantaged in society. The film reinforces the need for greater representation and access to equal opportunity in the city of Bristol.
